On behalf of the International Society of Obstetric Medicine (ISOM) and the Society of Obstetric Medicine of Australia and New Zealand (SOMANZ) we look forward to welcoming you to ISOM 2010. This Congress brings together clinicians and basic researchers from around the world who are passionate about the care of medical illness in pregnancy. Through expert presentations, original papers, case discussions and debates we aim to promote excellence in the care of medical illness in pregnancy. Obstetric Medicine is a global field and our biennial Congress provides an opportunity to meet with colleagues and friends practicing in this unique area of medicine.
We welcome physicians, obstetricians, medical sub-specialists, maternal fetal medicine doctors, anaesthetists, researchers, nurses and nurse midwives and clinicians of all types to our Congress.
Australian hospitality is legendary and we look forward to hosting a vigorous, enlightening and enjoyable programme. The city of Melbourne is located in the southern state of Victoria, Australia. It is a vibrant city known for its charm, thriving arts scene and multicultural ambience. Hopefully, overseas visitors will take the opportunity to see more of Australia as part of their visit. We welcome old and new friends to ISOM 2010.
