The President’s Award will be given to the best clinical presentation by any member at the meeting. The award is for A$1000.00 and will be judged by an expert panel throughout the meeting and awarded on the final day.
The SOMANZ Andrew Phippard Memorial Award will be given to the best oral scientific presentation by a junior member during the meeting. This award is for A$1000.00 and will be judged by an expert panel throughout the meeting and awarded on the final day.
The Committee invites abstract submissions for:

| 30th June 2010 | FINAL deadline for submission of abstracts. Earlier submission is strongly encouraged. |
| 30th July 2010 | Notification sent to all individuals who submitted abstracts, advising whether their presentation has been accepted. |
| 2nd August 2010 | Early Bird Registration closes. |
Short paper presentations will be 15 minutes duration with 10 minutes presentation and 5 minutes of discussion
Poster presentations will be on display within the congress venue. Sessions times will be organised for presenters to be at their posters to discuss their work and receive feedback. Posters should be no larger than 1m in width and 1.5 m in height.
All abstracts MUST be submitted via the website using the template provided.
(Please note: All correspondence will be forwarded by email to one contact only. Unless otherwise notified, the Congress Office will assume that the name the submission was uploaded under is the name of the presenter.)
The invitation to submit an abstract does not constitute an offer to pay travel, accommodation or registration costs associated with the Congress. Similarly, no speaker fee is paid to successful applicants.
By submitting this abstract you confirm that it has not been published or presented before. You also grant the Organising Committee permission to publish the abstract in the Congress proceedings in hard copy and electronic format.
If you do not wish to do this but still wish to submit please contact arinex to discuss. The Committee's decision on acceptance of the abstract will be final.
